In order to improve the information level of tourism industry, a design and animplementation on an intelligent tourist guide system based on KingMap operation systemwere presented. Firstly the architecture of KingMap system was introduced.Then thestructure of the tourist guide system platform was studied and the hardware of the platformand the module design were proposed. In this intelligent tourist guide system there are threeimportant modules: The user individual character parameter selection module、Tourismscheme generation module、 Tvravel related information query.There are a lot of scenic spots, but they have different properties to supply tourists.According to these properties, we classify all of the scenic spots into several sorts. Thispaper has explained the basic conception and classification of cluster’s analysis at first, thendirect against several kinds of main cluster analytical methods at present, have analysedK-means algorithm based on division, DBSCAN algorithm based on density especially,BITCH algorithm based on level and WaveCluster algorithm based on net. Their merits anddemerits and time complexity were also analysed. At last, the theory and model of theoptimal fuzzy clustering method was presented and numerical study proves that the algorithmis feasible and effective. Examples show that some very important spots were divided intotwo categories. It reached the system ‘s requirements.The shortest path problem is a very important part in the design of the intelligent guidesystem. Starting with the significance of the shortest path research, this paper analysis thebasic idea of the shortest path algorithm-Dijkstra algorithm, which based on graph theory,and improved this algorithm, finally, gave the application of the improved algorithm. Theintelligent guide system invide two choices to solve the problem of how to arrange thesuitable scenic spots in the limited length of stay of the tourists------the greedy algorithm andthe dynamic programming algorithm.Through the comparative analysis and verification,practice proves the dynamic programming algorithm is the most effective.The realization of functionality and interface of every module was analyzed in details. The testingresults show that the system is easy to use and has a good scalability and maintainability.
