The Study On Protecting Copyright To Promote Soft Power Of Chinese Culture

Copyright has the product attributes, wealth property and highly additional valueproperties as a result of industrialization of intellectual achievement behind thebackground of global informationization. It doesn’t only an important factor ofproduction and wealth of resource in the development of society and economy, but alsoa crucial part of cultural soft power which promotes growth of national economy andcontributes to the development of society. So protection of copyright becomes a vitalsecurity for the promotion of soft power. And it draws increasingly the attentions ofworldwide countries. Copyright protection plays an important role in enhancing thesoft power of Chinese culture. It is the main guarantee of cultural cohesion, creativity,vitality, spread and effect. Therefore, we study the theory, evaluate the status andissues and research the strategies of promoting the soft power of Chinese culture byprotecting the copyright to strengthen it. They are particularly important.In this paper, we combine the two methods of text analysis and cases studytogether. We conduct our research by focusing on protecting copyright to promote softpower. We refer to the relevant literatures at home and abroad in recent years, thensummarize them and find a new breakthrough. The main idea of our paper as follows:we start our paper by clarifying basic concepts of copyright, copyright industry andcultural soft power. Then we discuss the influence factors like policy, market,education, talent and culture and so on to prove that copyright protection canaccelerate the soft power’s growth of Chinese culture. We Base on cultural cohesion,creativity, vitality, spread and effect of the internal factors to analyse the innermotivity of it. Then we give comprehensive research on how do copyright protectionpromote cultural soft power. In the latter chapter, we also learn the status and issuesendure the time of process and point out the problems that restrict the promotion ofsoft power. At last, we give some measures and routes of assurance system to promotethe soft power by enhancing the copyright after introducing the splendid experienceson copyright protection of the United States, Britain, Koran and other developedcountries.
