Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) is a kind of information distribution system which has big capacity, security, anti-jamming and time division multiple address architecture. It has integrated the capability including communication, navigation recognition. It can also offer service to armed forces unity. JTIDS ensured the information unblocked and shared in the wars since the gulf war, playing a huge role in joint operations’victories.Firstly, the basic theory of modern communication reconnaissance and jamming of technology is introduced in this paper. The jamming to direct sequence spread spectrum communication and to frequency hopping communication is introduced in detail. Then, the composing, working process and signal features in JTIDS system are discussed and simulated. This paper mainly focuses on JTIDS reconnaissance and jamming technologies. On reconnaissance the blue print of interception the frequency hopped signal based on the digital channelized receiver is presented, and the simulation shows that the result is reasonable. The digital demodulation method of MSK signal is put forward in the paper, and the performance is quite good, we do some researching in tamed spread spectrum, and get the PN code. On jamming the stronger antijam capabilities of JTIDS are analyzed. At the same time, the probabilities of jamming to JTIDS are also discussed. On the base of what have mentioned above, this paper puts forward three kinds of valid jamming techniques:barrage jamming, prediction jamming, correlation jamming, then analyzes and simulates them. Aiming at the fast frequency-hopping technology adopted in JTIDS, this paper analyzes and simulates the impact of the number of jammed frequency points on jamming efficiency, and some useful conclusion is obtained about the selection of the number of jammed frequency points.
