Based On The Ov Ready Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Video Surveillance System

With a rise in the need for public security of human society, the intelligent videosurveillance has been more widely applied to every field. The intelligent videosurveillance is defined as a process of utilizing computer vision technology to analyzethe video signals in order to do the monitoring job without artificial interference, whichcontributes to the daily management and early warnings for an abnormal situation. Atpresent, the American ObjectVideo (OV) has achieved fruitful results in the field ofintelligent video research and producibility, through lauching a series of intelligentproducts, among which, OV Ready is a representative one.It is the primary work for this paper to integrate the DSP-based OV Readyapplication into the existing DM642-based EagleMage4.0hardware platform. Inaddition, an User Interface (UI) application on backend has been designed andimplemented for the communication with OV Ready application. Therefore, the job hasbeen divided into three steps to go. Firstly, the research on the architecture of OV Readysoftware and the function of each model has been made from the aspect of softwaredesign. Secondly, on the basis of the research results, much work has been done on theanalysis of the unstability of the network model in the integrated system, which leads toa corresponding solution. Finally, from the aspect of system implementation, an UIapplication on backend has been designed and implemented for the communication withOV Ready, which can store the alerts and snapshots into a database.The test results show that the improvement on the stability of the system iseffective. At the same time, the third-party application implemented in this paper canmeet the application requirements, thus ensuring the integrity of the system.
