Along with our country’s comprehensive national strength and the needs ofeconomic development, the requirements of society for population data are also gettinghigher and higher, the first census project includes only six items as the object’s name、address、age and etc, and now, the project includes nearly50items as occupation、migration、social security and etc. The data to be processed is amounted to billions, Inorder to solve problem of low efficiency of the conventional statistical methods, andlow speed of response, We developed the census data processing system which is basedon B/S。This paper focuses on the data processing system requirements, design andimplementation in detail. we Put forward the overall structure of the system on the basisof studying key technology of the system design and the analysis of census businessprocessing and function、non functional requirements,the system which is based onB/S mode has good reusability and scalability, is helpful for system development、maintenance and extension. We development the system on platform of.NET, using C#language, ORACLE10g for database. The design of multi-storey business processingprovides powerful object-oriented interface to the database, the system has betterscalability and portability. This paper describes the system design ideas and presents theminimum hardware configuration for normal running.Proved by Practicing, the system runs well, not only improve the census workefficiency, reduce manual workload, offers a powerful, high performance surveysoftware For statistical system, but also provides valuable experience and suggestionsFor other project development.
