The times of China’s economic censusis fewer, and analyses on economic census data rely on traditional statistical software more. Although the database technology has been mature on the study of Economic Census data, it is more and more difficult to deal with the data facing the characteristics “Mass” for database technology.Based on the findings mentioned before, this paper aims to establish an intelligent data visual-analysis system to realize the functions of the network input of data, intelligent analysis and visual representation.First of all, the paper establishes a census data storage subsystem to improve the performance from two aspects. One is the census unit with the way of inputting data in network terminal directly. The other is realizing the single-audit of census staffs. At the same time, the subsystem provides a friendly interface platform and develops such functions as the hierarchical management of personnel, import and export of data, the query and summary of the census data, system security, and help and navigation.Secondly, according to the application of intelligent data analysis method, this paper tends to establish an intelligent data analysis subsystem, whichsuccessfully uses the basic principles of four kinds of algorithm including fuzzy clustering analysis, maximum and minimum distance, K-means, and fuzzy c-means, in order to make an effective practice to economic data. And the practice proves that the subsystem is able to achieve good results.Thirdly, MatLab graphics subsystem ofvisualizing analysis system of the regional economic census data givesdirect-viewing show for the result data, which not only draws two-dimensional images such as line charts, bar charts and pie charts, accomplished by the traditional statistical software, but also plots three-dimensional pictures beyond the capability of traditional statistical software making the show much more accurate and comprehensive.To sum up, three subsystems mentioned above are combined into visualizing analysis system of the regional economic census data, in which the functions of economic census from data import to analyzing statistics and the performance of system are strongly proved that the system can provide sustainable support andconvenient service. To some extent, it explores the solutions of the application problems for economic census such as long work span, heavy workloads and over-complex operation.
