Since the development of the national economy, the tourism and informationindustries are also developing very fast. The study and application of tourisminformatization has become a hotspot topic. And development and application of thetourism information management system is one of the most important factors thatpromote the development of the tourism.This article will do a research about the present situation of the tourism andanalize the influence of informatization on tourism. I will use the modern managementmethods to study the development of information technology, and also I will make aspecific research on one of the travel agencies in Guangzhou by process-orientedapproach, collecting the documents and data’s relating to the travel agency, analyzingand reproducing the business process. This design develops according to thedevelopment process and steps of MIS, has finished the process of system analysis,system design, system implementation and system operation and so on. It is developedby using SQL Server database and C#foreground development tool.This system mainly realizes the foundations of basic data management, touristterms services management, information query and data statistic and so on, whichmanages the information such as tour guide, tourists, manducate, lodging, traveling,sight seeing, shopping and entertament more effectively to realize the tourist linesformed convenient operation, the automatic and standardized management of the touristteams business. This design is to develop a high-efficiency and practical tourisminformation management system with man-machine conversation and is accordancewith the routine habits, so as to make the operation and management more effectively.
