The large dynamic range of microwave detection technology occupies an important position in the microwave signal detection system, under normal circumstances the dynamic range of the detector is limited. For increase the dynamic range of the microwave signal detection is the focus of a long time to study the microwave signal detection technology. In this paper, I use a balanced dual-channel detection technique to design a large dynamic range of microwave detection system, its operating frequency range is9.6GHz~10.4GHz. For Index requirements, design the overall program, and the development of the power splitter used in the system, low-noise amplifiers, filters. The detector selected41Institute of China Electronics Technology Group of broadband coaxial detector. Last a corresponding kind were produced.First design a X-band micro-strip Wilkinson power divider,the test results to input echo loss greater than18dB and insertion loss less than4.3dB; Second, we designed and implemented two cascaded low-noise amplifier, The low noise amplifier tubes selected NEC Corporation NE3210S01, the tubes of the model requires dual power supply, use the MAX660power conversion module to achieve the overall external single power supply, test results in the frequency band are used for gain greater than20dB, the input output VSWR is less than1.9, the noise figure is of less than1dB; and then design a micro-strip band-pass filter with center frequency of10GHz, test results are in the frequency range9.8~10GHz for less than3dB insertion loss, return loss is greater than20dB. This paper presents the design simulation schematic, layout and physical map to achieve the desired targets. Finally connect the balanced dual-channel detection system, the overall test. The test results show that the detector has a minimum output of2m V, the dynamic range of52dB, while the direct use of the detector signal detection, the same kind of dynamic range is only29dB.In this thesis, the dynamic range of the X-band microwave detector technology is detailed description of experiments. A balanced dual-channel detector system can improve the dynamic range of the microwave signal detection. Finally, the problems and deficiencies in the development process, gives some improvement measures and design problems that need attention, and offers important lessons for the further design.
