The rapid development of the radio business requirements, leading to thecontradiction between supply and demand of the spectrum resource has becomeincreasingly prominent. Radio spectrum resources can be used fully and effectively byradio monitoring. Moreover,with the progress of communications and computernetworks,developing networked digital monitoring receiver and applying remotecontrol technology in monitoring, can enhance the effective use of resourceinformation, improve monitoring efficiency.This dissertation is focused on the multi-task monitoring function of networkeddigital recevier, the study and DSP implementations of digital signal processingalgorithms.This dissertation first introduces the design of multi-tasking system architecture ofthe DSP module. Based on DSP/BIOS real-time operating system, Multi-taskconcurrent implementation and monitoring functions can be implemented. Afterreceiving instruction from PC by100Mb/s Ethernet, DSP/BIOS dispatch theappropriate tasks to start execution. In order to complete front-end hardwareconfiguration, the base with the original data and spectral data reception, McBSP andGPIO interfaces are used for communication between DSP and FPGA. DSP candirectly send data which is frorn FPGA to PC, or do measurement, demodulation, andother computing tasks at the same times, then send the calculation results to PC.Multi-threaded DSP/BIOS-based scheduling, the system can enter four operatingmodes of fixed frequency, memory scan, frequency scan, panoramic scan mode, toachieve single-frequency measurements, and scanning of multi-band signal andspectrum analysis function.Then, according to ITU recommendation, the algorithm of frequency, occupiedbandwidth, x-dB bandwidth, and frequency deviation measurement have beenanalyzed and researched in this dissertation. After MATLAB simulations providingtheoretical reference for the hardware implementation, fixed-point measurement of theparameters are correctly implemented on the DSP. Four frequency measurement algorithms about Jacobsen, Quinn, Quinn2and Macleod are discussed. Considering theperformance of the algorithm and DSP implementation efficiency and other factors,Jacobsen algorithm was selected for frequency measurement.At last, based on the entire network receiver system, an intergration test has beencarried out. The test shows that the DSP can multi-task concurrent execution;flexibility to control the operating mode of the hardware system and work; to achievethe automatic measurement of the signal parameters.
