Since Milimeter-Wave radar has a large bandwidth and high-resolution characteristics, Wideband reconnaissance receiver must be used when we want to extract the parameters of Milimeter-Wave radar accurately. Meanwhile, it raised the quality requirements of the signal processing technologies of radar reconnaissance. With engineering application, this paper researched relating signal processing technologies of broadband reconnaissance receiver, and carried out the design and implementation.At first, the paper describes the composition and functional requirements of the broadband radar reconnaissance receiver. With DSP and FPGA as the core, the paper completed a broadband and high-speed signal processing hardware design, including signal sorting module, in-pulse feature analysis module and management module. Emphases on signal sorting algorithm and in-pulse feature analysis algorithm, the paper analyzed the performance of CDIF and SDIF algorithms and conducted computer simulations. Using the characteristics of the multi-scale wavelet transform, the paper structured wavelet bases reasonably, and realized in-pulse feature analysis. Simulation results show that the wavelet transform method has good performance for wideband radar signals, such as LFM and phase-coded signals. Meanwhile, in combination to the practical application, the paper also realized in-pulse feature analysis with non-fuzzy phase reconstruction method. Finally, the paper introduces the design and the implementation of the management module of the broadband receiver.The signal processing circuits and algorithms introduced in the paper have been applied to a radar reconnaissance system.Testing results verified the rationality of the hardware design and the effectiveness of the algorithms.
