At present, the condition monitoring of the tested engines and the test facilities ismainly based on the human-monitoring system in the domestic area. The design of the system, which is on the basis of the only aeroengine altitude simulation test facility in China, can be used in the tests of all kinds of the aeroengines in service now, realizing theimprovement of the monitoring system from the human-based system to the computer-based intelligent system.The mixed bus platform with the combination of the VXI bus and the LXI bus has been applied in the hardware design of the system, and the clientrver method has been utilized during the programming of the software. The system has been used to monitor the safety condition of the tested engines and the facilities with the assistance of othersystems such as the engine control system and the engine vibration monitoring system.The function of the test data real-time acquisition and analysis symbolized the digitalization of the monitoring system.During the design of the software, the C++language has been selected as the programming tool so that various algorithms can be used in the data acquisition and the data analysis, ensuring the flexibility and the robustness of the software. The clientrver structure makes sure that different users receives the related test data which emphases on the aspects of the tests. The system has already been linked with the Oracle database of the aeroengine altitude simulating test information since the users can obtain the data andthe results from the secured internet connection.The engine tests which have been regularly supplied the results which have proved that the system can gather the essential information, such as the engine condition dataand the engine performance condition and reported to the test engineers. Hence, the real-time condition of the engine test can be known clearly by the engineers and the safety of the engine and the facility can be guaranteed. The reliability of the system has also been proved.
