The Rfid Intelligence Library Workstations And Counter Intelligence Exit Subsystem Of Software Design And Implementation

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is a non-contact automaticidentification technology. It origins at the end of the1940s and develops rapidly fromthe low-frequency, high frequency, UHF and microwave segment in recent years. It isexpected that the UHF and microwave band technology will be more mature and theapplications will be more widely in the next few years. As one of the core technology ofthe "Internet of Things” technology, it will drives the "Internet of Things” rapiddevelopment fully.With the RFID technology be brought into the library management, libraryautomation management is upgraded to a new level and it saves a lot of manualoperations compared to the traditional “bar code and magnetic stripe" managementsystem, offers more reader self-service. It changes the concept that library collectionshave the highest priority in the traditional library management and establish aservice-oriented management philosophy to meet the fast, convenient servicerequirements in the era of information the library.This article is completed based on the research of the RFID Smart LibraryManagement System software development. Firstly, RFID technology and developmenthistory is briefly introduced. Besides, this article also introduces the library researchprogress, the system architecture of the typical RFID Smart Library, and the function ofeach subsystem.Secondly, it discussed the software design decision of the subsystem of counterworkstation and the subsystem of intelligent access control in detailed. From theanalysis of the requirements analysis and system architecture, it focus on the detailcomparative discussion of the selection of HF RFID or UHF RFID systems, and thenshow the selected hardware and hardware interface functions.Finally, it presents the software implementation and testing of the subsystem ofcounter workstation and the subsystem of intelligent access control. The subsystem ofcounter workstation is designed to replace the traditional "barcode+magnetic stripe"management system in the counter workstation, with all the functionality of the traditional management style and part of the cataloging function. The subsystem ofintelligent access control is security system of library, it plays a vital role for librarysecurity, which include access guard systems and anti-theft system. The access guardsystem is designed to control the staff accessing into the library, anti-theft system isdesigned to detect and alarm the library books which is taken out of the library andalarm if it is illegal, and the camera surveillance also join into the system to strengthenthe anti-theft system of the library.
