In this paper, Shanghai Normal University immersive virtual learningsystem design and implementation as an example, introduced thevirtual reality technology in the field of education, and the keytechnologies such as3DSMAX modeling, Quest3D production andimmersive virtual reality environment to build in detail. With advancedlearning theory as a guide, the virtual learning system includes campusroaming, learning and community cooperation, and it create theconditions for promote effective knowledge construction. The followingaspects:(a) I have read a lot of virtual reality technology information.On the basis of previous research, technology problems and Solutionshave been proposed.(b) Classic learning theory (cognitivism,humanism, behaviorism and constructivism) and E Meyer multimediadesign principles for theoretical guidance, the design principles ofvirtual reality teaching have been proposed.(c) Quest3D and3DSMAXtechnical solutions to do in the development of educational software,focusing on the establishment of three-dimensional scene, the materialproduction, special effects, interactive production, databaseconnectivity and web publishing technologies.(d) Study the Quest3Dimmersive virtual reality learning environment-based structures, the useof "single-channel-active stereo-rear projection" program. Hardwaremodules used: a three-dimensional display system, track the positioningsystem and multimedia aids.(e) Integrated campus roaming,community collaboration, several parts of the virtual courses andMoodle platform, can achieve the role-playing online collaboration,virtual learning, resource sharing and other functions.(f) Analysis of theresults and summarizes the inadequacies. Combined with "cloudcomputing", raised the prospect and ideas.
