The development of digitalization gives rise to the aspiration to integrate the mediaresources on multiple intelligent terminals and to share them with the other families. Theamusing media resources provide not only entertainment but also a chance of socialnetworking.In accordance with the above-cited demand, this thesis deals with the way to share themedia resources on intelligent terminals with capabilities like storing and playing. It is hopedthat, by the sharing of media, households can be largely entertained.The thesis firstly analyzes the commonly adopted internetworking protocol, and then,considering the practical demand of media sharing, designs the internetworking pattern bysimplifying UPnP protocol. Meanwhile, to avoid the time delay caused by "downloadingbefore playing" mode which is extensively used in traditional file sharing softwares, the thesiselaborates the way to realize the real time playing by adopting HTTP sequential streamingmedia technology. This pattern not only guarantees the quality of real time playing and savesthe space on the hard drive.Apart from that, the thesis puts its emphasis on P2P and NAT. Considering the practicalmeida sharing application between households, the author of the thesis designs a pattern totraverse NAT by using centralized P2P model and UDT punching hole technology, with theaid of Relaying server. This pattern realizes the transmitting of stream media and the detectingof equipments. Also, a couple of Web services are developed to enable users to enjoy remoteoperation via browser.In the end, the thesis gives a functional test of this system. The result shows that thesystem is equipped with sound structure and satisfying functions, and provides a unifiedmanagement in and around the households.
