In facility agriculture, monitoring environment parameters to construct a safe and healthyfacility agriculture ecological environment, can effectively stabilize and raise livestockproduct yield and quality, reduce accident loss,increase income and reduce the pollution ofthe environment. At present, in China’s vast rural areas and farm is the main use ofenergy-saving solar greenhouse and plastic greenhouse, the environment parametersmonitoring is rely on the artificial experience perception, or artificial use of portable dataacquisition instrument, while in the large multi-span in facility agriculture, using sophisticatedregulation system is not suitable for ordinary users.Take temperature monitoring for example, this paper designed a system of facilityagriculture environment remote monitoring based on the GSM. This system can realize theon-line temperature monitoring and sending warning messages, capable of timing sendingaverage data in SMS, so as to effectively avoid the artificial collection of reliability, but alsono redundant data information and communication costs. The main content and conclusionsof the paper are as follows.(1) The overall requirements of the system. Based on the demand analysis, paper hasdetermined the system function requirements, the system overall design scheme, and thesystem working mode and modules.(2) the system’s hardware and software were designed. The appropriate systemcomponents were selected according to the system’s scheme. Using the software of theAltium Designer6.9, the specific circuit design has completed, include system’s power sourcemodule, control module, serial communication module, LCD display module, temperaturesensor module, a real time clock module and wireless communication module. According tothe main program flow chart, paper completed the procedures for each module design,according to the functional requirements of the system completed the data-out judgment, datastorage and processing program.(3) The system message coding design. According to the GSM network service standard,the useful AT command has selected out, short message transceiver control mode and thePDU string encoding rules have determined, the system SMS’s PDU string has designed. (4) The system debugging and verification test. On the bread board, all module’shardware and software design were gradually debugged and verified, the experimental resultsshow that, system has achieved the predetermined run ways of the temperature on-linemonitoring and the average data sending.(5) System performance optimization.LCD display brief standstill and continuoussending alarm message is effectively improved when temperature is cross the boundary.
