Facility agriculture is the agriculture that use particular structures and performance facilities,engineering and management technology to transform the local environment,in order to make full use of the the soil,climate and crop potentiality independent of the natural environment to a certain extent.Agricultural information monitoring is an important foundation for facility agriculture.Its main content is acquiring the information of the crop growth,climate and soil fertile to provide the decision basis in management of facility agriculture.Agriculture’s features such as regional dispersion,complex topography and needing cycling farming lead to result that it is not feasible to acquire the information with wired networks.Wireless sensor networks technology has developed form military to civil areas since1970s.The features such as short distance,low power,self-organization and low cost make it have the natural advantage in agriculture information monitoring.Therefore,the subject mainly study about wireless sensor networks aiming at designing an convenient,practical agriculture information monitoring system.According to the specific needs of the agriculture information monitoring,the subject researches about the embedded system,wireless communication technology,Android technology,sensor technology and grey system theory achieving to acquire,inquire information and control of the facilities.The information we acquire include air temperature,humidity,light,CO2concentration,soil relative humidity and real-time video. What’s more,the system can help users to judge the accuracy of the data with the grey system.We also develop an Android mobile management terminal to make it easy to manage the agriculture information,this device has the functionalities acquiring real-time information,historical data,remote controlling, and real-time video transmitting.The subject designs4groups experiments to test the signal strength of the RF module and the communication distance,energy efficiency optimizations,packages loss rate of the mobile management terminal and the accuracy of the grey system.The experiments result indicates that:the RF module we designed can communicate as far as56meters,the relay nodes’ energy efficiency increase largely after optimization,the package loss rate is7%,and the grey system accuracy is high.The system has run in the Jiangsu Jurong Modern Agriculture Industrial Park,the result indicates that,system plan is reasonable,functionalities are stable,and the system is applicable to information monitor in facility agriculture.
