Breast cancer is one of the primary malignant tumors which brings great threats to women’s health and life, ranking the first in mortality rate of various malignancies for women. In recent years, non-invasive imaging examinations, as the most reliable method to diagnosis and the secondary prevention measures for early breast cancer, have been widely used in breast cancer screening for its accuracy, sensitivity, convenience and repeatability, etc. Early diagnosis of breast cancer and promptly exactitude therapy significantly contribute to effectively resect lesion, so that enhancing the long-term survival and lowering mortality for patients. Based on this consensus, many scholars have focused their studies on imaging examination-based early diagnosis of breast cancer, especially, with the microwave breast cancer detection being the hot spot as a non-destructive and non-invasive detection method.With the advancement of technology and the growing awareness of people’s health care, today, more and more high-tech means have been applied to the design of health care systems, particularly advanced embedded systems and IC technologies are required for the portable medical electronic equipments to achieve the goal of intelligence, miniaturization, low-power, and high-resolution.This dissertation is a part of Development Fund of Shanghai Science and Technology key project of basic research——"Breast Tumor Microwave Near-Field Imaging and Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer (Project NO.08JC1409200)". Based on embedded Linux system and the Qt GUI library to develop a portable breast cancer display terminal, it is characterized by intelligence, high-quality and low-cost, and can be widely used in hospitals, families and other non-hospital environments. As an early prevention measure, it also can provide early diagnosis info, with the features of minimum intervention to human body (noninvasive/minimally invasive), having far-reaching significance to improve the detection rate of early breast cancer and reduce mortality rate. First of all, based on project’s early studies, the paper described the detection principle and the construction of BRATUMASS system, leading to the design of imaging display terminal; according to the analysis of display terminal’s function requests and considering the implementation of software and hardware platform, determined to build development environments for the whole system in view of OMAP3530-MINI board, embedded Linux OS and Qt/embedded GUI library.On this basis, the paper developed an overview of embedded software development mode, namely the host-target mode; elaborated the building process of development environments for host and targeted board.At last, the paper introduced the framework structure of function modules of display terminal software; proposed the difficulties of technological implementation, and made explanations for imaging algorithms, Qt’s core mechanism-signal and slot mechanism, the graphics engine and other key technologies; emphatically analyzed the development of breast cancer display terminal software on account of Qt GUI, and detailed the design of each function module, and finally shows the effect of system design.Clinical imaging results show that the paper has completed the design of breast cancer display terminal under microwave near-field sounding, and its imaging output can accurately locate the potential lesions. Moreover, it can be developed by follow-up database and network access technology to further achieve the goal of telemedicine.
