Thanks to the development of DSP technology and RF recognition technology, this thesis will design a smart cars management system within a court which is based on DSP platform and utilizes RF recognition technology, and besides, set the software and hardware framework. At the gates of a court, the system will collect and recognize plate number, and then send the collected information to the car-shipped chip; the car will return the required information. After receiving the specific information, the system then will send it to the database to compare with the car information that already exists and keep update. Finally the updated information will be sent back and written into the car’s shipped chip. This way, we could realize the auto management of cars in a court. The system includes distant data-communication, entering court without mankind-checking, automatic controlling technology, smart car perception, and plate recognition technology, and will be mainly applied in middle-scale or large-scale court and business district.As the core of the software, plate recognition algorithm handles the real-time collected image data, and then conduct character-recognition with the help of feature recognition algorithm and pattern match algorithm. According to RFID communication system, this system customize the chip’s coding format and data format by widely-used FPC coding method, and also the design and implementation of communication algorithm.
