Application Of OPC And GSM Technology In Production Process Remote Monitoring

The rapid development of modern industrial production and the increase of industrial automation equipment and control systems, results in a large number of measure-d data ’s collection and store in the process of production.Reasonable monitoring ofreal-time data is not only increase the production,management and operation level gr-eatly, but also timely play the role of early warning and alarm, in order to protectthe enterprise security, and stable the production.OPC technology is the rise in recent years formed the data acquisition andcontrol interface technology, Firstly, this paper introduces the communicationmethods and processes of OPC interface which includes the custom interface、aut-omation interface、the OPC group, and the concept of the project. Then, this pape-r has a research on OPC Server KEPServerEx which has been widely used n-owadays. In the third part, it studies the function of software Kingview. Select-ed as a OPC client, it achieves the data from a remote OPC server, stored dat-a in the database at the same time,and use the publishing feature of KingviewWeb to monitor the system for Web publishing.Finally,this paper designs a kindof Message alarm system, which based on the OPC Server and GSM networkplatform. The system is with OPC technology for the communications core andthe GMS platform for smart remote alarm system.In this paper,the use of OPC technology and configuration software establish an I-nternet-based remote monitoring system, the system has good scalability and versatili-ty, it can monitor the remote and data communications. SMS alarm design is based on GSM SMS, you can receive the production of alarm information SMS th-rough mobile terminal.Through the GSM network, whenever you are,you canknow every situation on the scene like the palm of one’s hand,make the prod-uction more safe.
