In industry, traditional PID controller has wide application of production and control technology is very mature. Traditional integer order PID controller has its own drawbacks on non-linear and time-invariant links, but fractional order PIλDμ controller has better control effect.This article mainly describes how to tune5parameters kp,ki,kd, λ, μ of fractional order PIλDμ controller by using several intelligent algorithms. While paper is devided into two parts, in first part, it focuses on the parameters tuning method of fractional order PIλDμ controllers in theory. In the first part, there are genetic algorithms, fuzzy control, Wavelet neural network theory, DNA computing. In first five chapter, every chapter gives basic idea and procedures of corresponding algorithms, and in the end of every chapter there are simulation, it proves the feasibility of every intelligent algorithm. At present, genetic algorithm is a mature algorithm in tunning parameters, in this paper, there respectively give procedure of tuning parameters based on genetic algorithm from time domain and frequency domain. In time-domain to look for a set of optimal parameters of the controller primarily based on ITAE standard construct objective function, in frequency domain to look for the best parameters primarily based on the amplitude and phase angle conditions. The introduction is comprehensive and detailed. Fuzzy control can manage fuzzy data, in this paper, apply fuzzy control method to tuning parameters of fractioal order PIλDμ controller, find the best parameters of controller by using fuzzy reasoning, in the end of the chapter, there are simulation expriment, and the experimental results prove that the tuning method is effective and can enhance dynamic response of control system. Wavelet network is developing based on traditional neural network, tuning parameters based on wavelet network is an innovation. To tune fractional order PIλDμ controllers by using back propagation computing power of wavelet neural network. DNA computing is a new bionic algorithm in recent years, because of high ability of parallel computation and disposing data, so the application prospect is very wide. To find a set of optimal parameters of the controller by meet the constraints of DNA computing, the result of simulation proves that DNA computing is effective.The second part mainly introduces the hardware realization of fractional order PIλDμ controller. In the second part, the main application of fractional order PIλDμ controller is tunning speed of disel in coaler, and the hardware implementation of fractional order PIλDμ controller is to design fractional order PIλDμ controller based on ARM under operate system of μC/OS-II. The second part has significant reference value in the fields of industry, agriculture and aerospace.
