In this paper,Android multimedia framework Stagefright was research.design a solution to enhance the performance of the framework.The program was added into a multi-core platforms, the Android2.3multimedia framework Stagefright, and H.264decoding technology to enhance the image encoding and decoding capabilities.According to the analysis of performance and function requirements of the system. The light Stagefright framework was used in this paper, and do some expansion on its basis, so that Integration the H.264encoding technology to daul Dsp and improce the ability of the codec. Design YUV after the completion of the decoding,which not only reduce the output of the redundant time, but also greatly enhance the overall quality of play.First, Android system, Android multimedia framework Stagefright and H.264encoding parallel coding techniques was introduced.Second, how to build the ardware platform as well as and how to port android to target platform was introduced. third,introduced the Android system after transplantation, integrated dual Dsp of H.264decoding to Stagefright and the YUV design after decoding when output to the LCD in the research of this subject.Finally, The Stagefright performance improvement was analyzed, the ARM+RGB and DSP+YUV output mode were compared and found that the the latter than the former decoding capability was improved for several times and verify the theory.
