The health of bridge structure is closely linked with the life of people, so the bridge structure health monitoring system is of great importance to all of us. The traditional wired communication network is difficult to meet the need of flexible deployment of sensor nodes, at the same time, if the equipment is damaged, it is also difficult to repair and replace. On the other hand, wireless communication network, a new technology, has inadequacy in the signal covering range and the communication quality. If layout nodes of the wireless devices are in the casting ironed equipments, attenuation and multipath interference will be large, and it will seriously affect the quality and the accuracy of communication data.This thesis presents an integrated design of heterogeneous network, it combines both advantages of the wireless network and wired network, and it is more convenient to the bridges’construction and equipments’ installation. Firstly, this article describes the overall architecture of the system and related hardware architecture. Secondly this thesis analyzes the procedure of the whole data aquisition and transmitting process. A variety of network communication ways are detailed introduced, such as Socket, USB, ZigBee. Also, the detection system includes real-time sampling data storage, alarm data storage and statistical data and other data storage. Real-time data storage use a binary file to store data, when the data generated unforeseen circumstances, such as dislocation, we need to storage the alarm data, and at the same time, mean value, maximum value and minimum value are also put into the database. Finally, host computer receives the data, displays the real-time waveform, and analyzes the frequency of bridges’vibration, the current value and the time average value of each node.
