Black carbon aerosol is amorphous carbon which is emitted by incomplete combustion of carbonaceous material, it is an important part of the atmospheric aerosol, it can effect atmospheric climate by its strong radiation absorption characteristics of direct and indirect effects. In the atmospheric circulation, it has a strong influence on precipitation and precipitation intensity, in addition, its adsorption properties could absorb pollutants to hazard human health by entering the body through the respiratory system. So more and more human concern is caused and it is necessary to detect its concentration.In this paper, by reading a lot of domestic and international material of black carbon concentration measurement, the light attenuation law principle、the SCM control technology and photoelectric detection technology are used to design a concentration detection of black carbon aerosol system. The author mainly does the following work:1、In hardware design, MSP430MCU is chose as the main system controller to achieve low power consumption, the single-probe detection and multi-point temperature measurement is introduced, the feed module drive circuit、flow detection module circuit、CAN bus circuit and several A/D、D/A circuit are designed, separate and joint circuit module is also debugged.2、In host computer management software design, Delphi development tools、Object Pascal language and the structural framework of development control are used to design the interface of PC management software, serial communication is used between PC and hardware, and the feedback detection data is brought to PC to achieve curve shows for analysis.By comprehensive test of the system, this design could bring the test results to the host computer to do curve analysis. And it also has several advantages such as simple operation、low power、low-cost、temperature feedback to correct error、telecommunications、easy to improve the portability, and the test results is in good agreement to meet the atmospheric black carbon aerosol concentration detection, some future practical value for system improvements is also provided.
