The product traceability is based on the quality and safety requirements of products. Inthe design and manufacture process of product, the product could endanger the personal andproperty safety because of certain systematic factors, which could threaten the safety of thegroup with a large quantity of consumers. At present, with the fast and stable development ofour company, there are more and more new car types are developed; however we are stillusing paper file and excel documents for the management of information upon keycomponents on the train. This management system can not satisfy the traceabilityrequirements of our company. To perform an effective, convenient, swift and systematicmanagement of information upon key components mounted on the train, we developed thetrain filing management system as a crucial sector of our traceability management. It can beused as an important management platform for the information of key accessoriesmanagement and traceability management these parts.The train filing management system can be used to establish files for importantinformation for all assembly parts of our vehicles, which can realize the management in theprocesses of supply chain, production and customer application. The functions include vehiclemanagements of vehicle information, assembly parts information, bogie accessoriesinformation, bogie information and car body accessories information, etc.During the development of train filing management system, project management isperformed according to the principle of software engineering, which splits the softwaredevelopment into several stages. All technologies used in the development of train filingmanagement system are summarized in this essay.1. Requirement analysis stage: the requirement acquisition and analysis are done bycombining use-case driven principle and software interface prototype; system boundariesare determined 2. Overall design stage of system: finish the design of physical and logical framework fortrain filing management system.3. Database design stage: design the structure of system database, determine relationshipamong various databases.4. Detailed system design: with the principle of object-orientation and take the MVC anddesign modes into consideration, perform the detailed design.5. System realization stage: convert the result into the applicable system with ASP.net andperform system tetst.The train filing management system is used for traceability management of vehiclesmanufactured by us. The traceability of vehicle information and accessories information iscrucial for our after-service department.
