Research&Design Of A Sub-system Of The Administration System For Open Education In TV University

With the rapid development of Information Technology, to build up the Knowledge-Economy Period and construct life-long study system is a brand new point of view in current society. The modern long distance education teaching mode came into being on this basis. The project of "Experiment of human recourses cultivation and reform of open education" was carried out on the same ground. In this "Free registration, strict standard for graduation " education mode, administration affairs will be more and more important.The papers will analysis the main questions and the contradiction in real situation by study the two ASOE (Administration System for Open Education in TV University) which are running right now. Firstly, Question from the data form in examination registration, especially the manually reported data that is hard to accept by the ASOE; Secondly, Question from the examination classroom arrangement. According to principle of equal and fair, all classrooms will be arranged randomly. Thirdly, Question from the examination data collection. That is, To receive the examination results to the ASOE from different sources and various types. The research is trying to find a salutation to all these questions above, which have been existing for a long time and situations do not conform to the actual.The core designing theory of this paper is to download the basic raw information from ASOE by a small data-base platform. Then report data to all the branch schools, especially those manually conducted data. Next, upload these data to the system, conduct all the data form, and generate exact correct form of data which can be received by ASOE immediately. During the process of examination registration, by contract of original information, correcting errors, deleting redundant information. And arrange classrooms by applying VC program function RAND() then blending the student ID. In this process, generate real random array by using system clock as random seed. While in the process of data receiving, to achieve completion of the missed examination data by using VLOOKUPQ function, thus avoid affection from people mistakes.This system is designed from the real situation of our school, to solve all the problems of the branch schools in both equipment and hands. The system is easy to constructed, clearly to understand and right to the point. Formerly, restrictions and problems are commonly existed all over the country, such as region differences, lacking of training of administration staffs and IT professionals, meanwhile, examinations of TVU are held at the same time in China, insufficiency of administration staffs in provincial TVUS, on the other hand, the task of examinations are really hard there, newly designed systems bring new problems... all these phonon comes to a problem that the training plans are hard to carried through and no so easy to learn.By applying this newly designed System, we will achieve the following objects:To simplify implementation pertinency avoiding people made errors which will mistake the results. The system is user-friendly, strong in pertinency, easy to grasp and apply. Compatibility to current examination system, provide data for ASOE, find a common standard. When receiving examinations results, conducting data by encipherment technology, uploading the data to ASOE directly, avoiding manual errors. Increasing working efficiency and resolving the current problem that all TVU are lacking of staff. And it is easy to access for non-professionals. By applying my design, the work of examination system management will become ordered and reliable.
