The Research About Vehicle HMI Optimization Method Based On Ontology

Terminal display interface based on ergonomics is the main channel of the new intelligent human-machine interaction in the vehicles. The driving information of vehicles is pushed to human, however, the touch channel is mainly used to help human to make some measures. Drivers send their orders to the machine through touch actions, according to the information from various organs, such as hearing, vision and so on. So the design of the human-machine interface is related to the rationality and convenience between human and machine directly.Human-machine spans a wide range of subjects, including ergonomics, sociology, linguistics, physiology, psychology, Technology Aesthetics, philosophy and so on. In ontology engineering, various concepts and relations belonging to different subjects, can be described in an unified way semantically, which is more formalized and general. Ontology contains accurate knowledge semantics, precise machine sentence structure, and clear language for human and machine, which makes various logical relations between concepts and objects firm. The paper constructed an ontology system for human-machine interface, which is more helpful to manage different subjects knowledge, avoid "each does things in his own way" in each subjects, and improve the human-machine interface design efficiency.The paper studied the optimization design method of the automobile intelligent terminal human-machine interface based on ontology. Combined with the field and general thought of ontology, the paper designed the human-machine interface. Considering various influence factors, such as physics, mental, habits, sensory, humanity, environment and so on, the paper concluded the knowledge of human-machine interface and established a referable subjective and objective evaluation standard and optimization design system, which can make the design scheme and method of automobile terminal human-machine interface standard, the design thoughts and the function interface classification clear. Meanwhile, the paper tried the best to improve the human-machine interface agreeableness. Through the interface designed in the paper, the design concepts and thoughts in the development of the automobile human-machine interface can be standardized and shared, which can promote the human-machine interface design to form standard and achieve the goal of design for driver. So the paper did some research on optimization design system of automobile terminal human-machine interface. The main content is as follows:Firstly, the paper studied the features of some human-machine interface, and proposed some improvement recommendation. Meanwhile, the team for human-machine interface design proposed the design optimization scheme for automobile terminal human-machine interface.Secondly, by comparing some models applying ontology in the engineering, the paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages. And the ontology model based on human-machine interface was established in the paper according to the design features of automobile terminal human-machine interface.Then, the paper designed the human-machine interface prototype according to ontology semantic system. On the basis of the content of subjective and objective evaluation, the paper verified the rationality of the optimization design system by the subjective and objective evaluation experiment. According to evaluation advice, the paper improved and optimized automobile terminal human-machine interface in the environment of Labview.At last, the paper concluded the research and main achievements and proposed some constructive thoughts on the research of automobile terminal human-machine interface optimization design system.
