With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the wirelesssensor network (WSN) has got more and more attention of many scholars at home andabroad. And the localization as its main support technology has become one of thefocus on WSN. The location algorithms which use the static anchor node need higheranchor node density, and the cost of anchor node is much higher than the unknownnode, after the localization, anchor node usually has no other use, which will greatlyincrease the location cost of network, so study the algorithm which use the mobileanchor node in the network to assist the localization is of value. Mobile anchor as anew direction and way of localization for WSN has caused the extensive concern athome and abroad.Based on the previous results and conclusions, this paper uses the mobile anchornode, focuses on improving the precision of the localization and the rate of coverage,reducing the network energy consumption and prolonging the lifetime of the networkand so on, the main researches of this paper are as follows:(1) Analyzing the previous distance measurement technology and positioningcalculation method of location, studying the location which has the mobile anchor andwhich does not have the mobile anchor, summarizing the advantages anddisadvantages of each localization technology, which provide the oretical basis andideas for the following improved research.(2) Introducing the idea of graph theory, WSN is regarded as a connectedundirected graph. An improved greedy algorithm is proposed. This method uses amobile anchor traversing the whole graph, and then obtains all localizations. Thismethod has better properties in localization precision and system energy expenditure.The simulation experiments verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this improvedalgorithm.(3) Focused on energy consumption issues under localization for WSN, in order to reduce the system the energy consumption, prolong the network lifetime and reducethe detecting delay, a new dynamic power management (DPM) method for localizationis proposed combining with the wake-up mechanism. This method uses more mobileanchors traversing the whole network by the improved ant algorithm, then obtains alllocalizations, and gets the more optimized path. Through the experiment verify thecorrectness and effectiveness of this method.
