The Image Survival Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

This paper analyzes the existence of Rucheng’s Incense Dragon Image from the perspective of transmission condition, including its regional environment, cultural background, historical origin, the unique feature as an alive heritage, and its present difficulty. It must be admitted that the survival of the Incense Dragon Image plays an important role in resolving the present difficulty. However, because of the limits of the image, there are many negative effects. According to the analysis, this paper proposes viable approaches for the survival of the image. The local government should record and publicize the image through documentary films, movies, television plays, and the promotion videos,and finally achieve the aim to protect and inherit the alive heritage. According to the further analysis of the present condition, this paper also proposes countermeasure for the survival of the intangible cultural heritage.
