Along with the developmental SNS such as Facebook, Myspace, Mixi, Gree and Cyworld in foreign, SNS in China develops rapidly and shows its potential on the basis of these successful models. In recent years,3rd-generration, network convergence and the increasingly intelligent mobile platform are more likely to provide development possibilities of mobile SNS. mobile SNS in foreign presents a good state of development, especially in Japan and South Korea, which can solve the problem successfully that traditional SNS couldn’t. Generally speaking, the development of mobile SNS in foreign inspires domestic market.College students as mobile SNS important and special user groups, the choice and use of SNS influence on the development of mobile SNS in certain degree. College students are the most important user group of Renren, so this study selects Renren as the main research object. The research constructs the practice communication mode of mobile SNS for college students by analyzing the communication mode of traditional Renren, the present situation of mobile network and the relevant communication mode of mobile Renren, in the meanwhile, factors like communicators, disseminators, content, channels and environment are also involved. According to the study, the practice communication mode has the advantage of anytime and anywhere, interactive quickly, lower cost and so on, however, it is similar to the traditional communication mode in main sections. Accordingly, the study wants to construct certainty communication mode.The study based on the research results of college students’ physiological needs, secure needs, developmental needs, contributing needs, respectful needs and the communicational needs from Huang Xiting. Moreover, the study analyzes the college students’ social network and combines with the mobile SNS development situation. Through the research above, the study construct certainty communication mode for college students. The model regards college students’ needs as the core contents, fuses many kinds of social development mode, realizes free-flowing of users between traditional and mobile platform, makes full use of LBS, provides college students with all-round, multifarious, personalized content, and ensures the classification of content clear, in order to get useful information easily in the mobile platform for users.Then, the study verifies the certainty communication mode for college students by empirical investigation. Questionnaires are sent in several universities such as Southwest University, Chongqing University, Southeast University, Central South University, Henan Normal University, Xinjiang University of Finance & Economics, Zhangzhou Normal University. There are 610 effective questionnaires returned and analyzed. The investigation reveals that the certainty communication mode for college students is accepted by user, besides some details need to be corrected and improved. Finally the scientific certainty communication mode for college students is constructed.
