VTS vessel traffic service is used to improve traffic safety, improve the transportation efficiency and protect environment service. The equipment of a large VTS is complex. Its system has a strong function and cost is high. For some small waters or port, the system maintenance is expensive, and can not give full play to its function, so these make the system cost greatly reduced. For the maritime security and cost-effective to consideration, we can change marine radar into VTS Radar to realize marine radar traffic control. Traffic control radar is based on the computer as its core. The radar signal is processed by the data processing subsystem. And the traffic control radar can display remotely record the information, remotely control and telemetry to realize traffic control the basic functions of the system. The marine radar traffic control system is of low cost and high efficiency. It has high application value in the small waters and ports.The traffic control radar is always built at the seaside on a hill or waters attachment to the heights surrounding where environment is not suitable to work. Therefore, to the radar operating locally is obviously difficult to achieve. So we need to obtain remote radar video image display and status of word and other information. Because the original radar video image data is not easy to remote transmission and display. And the number of the color layering from original radar video image is small, the land, coast and goals are not vivid, small targets are not distinguished easily. These problems are urgent to resolut.Therefore, this topic will be under Windows operating system, using Visual C++6.0MFC base class, with the radar image based on image to analysis the features of radar, from which to get the radar image color types and solve the problem of dynamic compression. We can realize the radar image previewing, acquisition, echo extraction, dynamic compression, transmission and real-time display function, and the realization of radar image3D effect display. In addition, from a practical point of view, we complete the construction of the man-machine interface design of radar.
