The Improvement About Research On Object Location And Tracking Technology Based On Cctv System

At present, the maritime traffic management technology, mainly used for targeting and tracking radar technology, but for some aquatic environment, radar subsystem would monitoring inconvenient, and monitoring failure at a specific time, while CCTV systems (the Closed Circuit Television, CCTV surveillance system) can be done real-time monitoring, so we use the CCTV system to the secondary monitor to make up for the lack of radar monitoring. Now CCTV system has been developed to an important part to play an important role for VTS (Vessel Traffic Services, Vessel Traffic Management System) system.On the basic of research for previous CCTV positioning tracking technology, this project made some improvements for further research. For positioning, robot vision and binocular stereo vision, combined with the tracking technology, to improve the process of camera calibration, according to the sequence targets, control PTZ corner to obtain the images, For tracking, we use the Kalman filter method, according to the feature of the target, to extract the targets, then get the next frame movement, control PTZ to achieve the target and identify the target’s running track.
