Wireless Sensor Application-Layer Developed Based On The Android Platform

Currently, android smart phone platform is the hottest areas of research focus. Based on android platform, the paper discusses how to complete the implementation and application of temperature sensor and SMS alarm on the Android platform.The application of temperature sensor and SMS alarm on phone based on Android operating system is a practical application, which makes sure of users’personal and property without unexpected accidents. In this thesis, we develop and achieve our project goal through the research in the application of phone’s terminal with the structure of Android’s application process and its life cycle.In laboratory environment, we achieve and complete our project’s development via the test of REAL6410 developing board and oscilloscope, also getting through soft condition of Eclipse, JDK1.6.0 and SDK in PC’s terminal, all these based on the characteristics of Android’s structure. Due to rareness of sensor development on Android platform, we met a lot of difficulties in this project. By the means of the developing documents Real6410 we will realize the transplantation of Android system in the developing board. Through Android sensor simulator tools provided by Google in the PC terminal,we also realize the simulation of temperature sensor’s function. At last, using Google Android own message function, we will complete the second development of text messages modules. Simultaneously, the test in the developing board will be completed after the process implanting the developing board.
