With the fast development of Internet technology, web service attracts many attentions from research and web application domains. The extensive application of web service technology have made an increase in the account of web services, and the web services which have the same or similar function are also increase. As a result, when choosing the web services, the users not only focus on the function of the web services, but also pay attention to the quality of service (QoS), so how to evaluate and manage the QoS of service has become a hot issue in the research domains of web services. And the implementation of web services’QoS management and evaluation boost the research of application which bases on the web services’QoS, meanwhile, it goes with the development trend of the requirements of enterprises applications integration and the distributed computing technology. Thus, the research of web service’QoS management framework has great theoretical and realistic significance.However, the QoS management and evaluation of web services involves many aspects of web services, including customizing web service QoS attributes’model, collecting and measuring web services’QoS informations, quantifying and processing web services’QoS informations and web service QoS evaluation, etc. In the exsiting research, the research of QoS related issues are based on the requirement of the web service application; therefore they are far less flexible and applicability in QoS management. To address these problems, this thesis proposes an improved version of the web service QoS management framework.This thesis analyzes the findings of the relevant fields of web services’QoS management firstly, and summarizes the advantages and shortcomings of existing research. To address those shortcomings, the solutions are proposed in this thesis, and based on those solutions; three models designed in this thesis are following:First, a QoS attributes management model of web service based on registration mechanism is designed, with this model, QoS attributes’ information can be managed uniformly, so the consistency of the QoS attributes’ understanding can be ensured.Second, a QoS information collecting model based on automated reporting method is designed, with this model, the QoS informations can be managed in a central place, so that they can be added and got easily. Meanwhile, the real time property of QoS informations can be ensured and the effect on the network is reduced when collecting the QoS information.Third, web service QoS evaluation model based on entropy weight coefficient is designed, with this model, the credibility of evaluation results is improved, more over, this model realizes dynamic and customizable evaluation and increases the flexibility of QoS evaluation model.Based on the design of those models, the web service QoS management framework is implemented by intergrating the three models. As a result, we can manage and evaluate QoS of web services with this QoS management framework.
