As the mobile communication network development, the amount of wireless network increase and the group sequential projects, more and more problems, such as frequency interference, poor coverage, TCH congestion and SDCCH congestion are emerging in the traditional wireless network. So the wireless network optimization technology has been born. DT test, CQT test, word analysis, and automatic measurement analysis are the main methods of wireless network optimization.Because of the business secrets and other factors, the manufacturers do not share in the resource between each other, and most of the traditional network optimization technologies are independent between each other, so that there is a lack of a completed process in the traditional network optimization technologies, which can’t position the interfering frequency and congestion timely and completed: incomplete resources, not detailed word analysis, the statistics precision is not for the specific area, and the non-system optimization technology etc. Therefore, it is urgent to establish a completed system for network optimization.According to the main defects of traditional wireless network optimization technologies,while combining with the demand of the system for GSM wireless-network optimization and China Unicom’s functional specification, we propose a wireless network optimization system, which is based on basic data of cells, the performance of the data, MR data collection, based data, daily TOPN analysis of cells, and parameter optimization.In this paper, we explain how to design and establish the wireless network optimization system. However, the automaticity of the proposed system is not enough, so we develop an evaluation software for the intelligence optimization and fault position, which is based on the proposed system. We tested the performance of the proposed system and the developed software, and experiments are performed on some city in China. The results indicate that proposed system can uphold the existing wireless mobile communication network in time, precisely, and effectively. The proposed system can be applied on the actual environment very well.
