With the continuous development of embedded operating systems, the new application environment and technical requirements put forward higher requirements for the development of embedded software. RT-Thread into the industry’s attention, as the emerging embedded real-time operating system, Stable, open source, good real-time components complete the excellent place it is bound to shine in the future in the embedded filed. But there are still many shortcomings, which, the lack of a perfect middle of the file system layer interface is one of the weaknesses, the lack of uniform standards the basis of different hardware-based storage devices in application environments (NANDFLASH) drive. To resolve this problem,I made a extension for RT-Thread--Add a file system based on RT-Thread NADNFLASH middle layer. The middle layer is designed to provide a flexible, reliable and efficient solution. RT-Thread in the different types of NADNFLASH above to establish a unified interface, in order the choice of different file systems to be more.The middle layer design has two aspects:On the one hand to provide a unified drive to write interfaces for different types of NANDFLASH, essentially driven to write the standard RT-Thread NANDFLASH specification, which simplifies driver development process to effectively prevent the duplication of effort, The other hand, the choice of multi-file system, so that the development and application of more adaptable and more perfect support in many fields and complex environment.The design of the intermediate layer, a clear hierarchical design ideas, between the bottom and the top is relatively independent, as far as possible to the POSIX standard for the specification of the underlying drivers, the top-level and RT-Thread connection can be configured can choose flexible, designed to ensure that the file systemrelative package of choice and hardware drivers, and thus more user-friendly file system management, and also more suitable for the improvement and transplantation. Based on these advantages, and papers of the final test to verify that the design of RT-Thread versatility and promotional value.
