TPS (Third Personal Shooting Game) is a common shooting gameand it can change the role’s position according to the situation by using the keyboard and mouse. Along with the development of mobile devices and the appearence of the smart phone with touch or sliding touch screen, the TPS play a more important role in mobile games.The TPS engine is the core of the TPS. It contains all kinds of functions for TPS, such as the basic event pretreatment, events parsing, collision detection between players and enemies, barrage, the old and new play rules of the game, and so on.The main work of this dissertation is shown as follows:1、It analyzes the tendency of mobile games and STG (Shooting Game) and introduces the currenct hotpot of TPS based on iOS.2、It introduce the framework of the iOS platformand analyzes the technology of cocos2d-x, and then builds the development environment of the TPS engine based on iOS.3、Based on game rules of the TPS and the principle of game design, it analyzes the functions of TPS engine introduces its design and implementation technology.4、It provide a simple method to solve the issue in the barrage and the collision detection in TPS.
