This thesis elaborates the design and development of the central monitoring platform for electronic fence. The main contents are as follows:the background and significance of this research for electronic fence center monitor platform, introduction of the key technology used in the monitoring platform, the overall frame design, function and database designs, and programming.Combined with the features of intelligent electronic fence equipment, electronic fence system center monitoring platform is completed on the basis of three-tier architecture:data access layer, responsible for the original data operations, including the database design of electronic map, alarm record, operations record, users information and rights management; business logic layer, mainly responsible for the operation of the database, such as database access, users’data validating and data legitimacy; interface layer, responsible for the users’ inputted information, in response to the user control commands and process the business between the logic layer and the interface layer.The central monitoring platform for electronic fence, which is the major part of the human computer interaction in the perimeter protection system, realizes intelligent and humane on electronic fence technology, through combining with modern advanced computer center control platform. The central monitoring platform executes unified layout and centralized control of electronic fence equipments, using the following techniques:serial communication, interface of the network video server, electronic map, the technology of database and linkage alarm. At the same time, the entire perimeter protection system has important functions such as multiple alarming, automatic recording, remote transmission, centralized processing of information, operating multiple or single protected zones. People can master the protected area and equipment states and also improve the system’s flexibility and scalability. Users could timely and accurately know the situation of the protected areas and the fence equipments in the monitoring office after equipped the perimeter protection project of oil parting or high voltage substation with the central monitoring platform. Then the goal of improving work efficiency is achieved, as well as unattended operation, reducing security risks.
