With the reform and opening up the living standard of people has increased rapidly, and the people’s health concern is continuously raised. This phenomenon promotes the rapid development of China’s pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry of our country develops rapidly and types of drugs become very rich than before in a short period of time. Because china’s industrial base is weak and most of the pharmaceutical industry in the process of drug production control use the backward control, resulting in high energy consumption and the quality of the drugs throughout the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. This affects people’s health, in order to maintain a sustainable and healthy development of pharmaceutical industry, the need for the upgrading of industrial structure.Due to high energy consumption, low product quality and other issues of pharmaceutical industry, this paper designed the system which contains Siemens s7-200plc, frequency converter, temperature sensor, cold oil circulation pump and position machine etc. Principle of this system is that plc receives data from temperature sensor and transfer to position machine, calculate the deviation e and ec, multiplied by the quantization factor after rounding processing into a fuzzy variable, then get control volume through finding form and export current to control frequency of frequency converter. In this way, change out of fuel of cold oil circulation pump, to meet the requirements of the temperature of the system.The system can reduce the energy consumption effectively in the production process and improve the quality of the product. In the field of temperature control of the pharmaceutical industry, conventional PID regulator is a common way. Though this way can adapt the need of system, it has two shortages. First, Parameters fixed, can’t changing to adjust the parameters, second, the ability of dynamic adjustment and anti-jamming is poor. This article of Phenolphthalein synthesis process takes the control of fuzzy PID which has the advantage of dynamic performance of fuzzy control, the ability of conventional PID would be improve rapidly by online adjusting PID parameter. So the fuzzy PID control has advantages of conventional PID adjusting high precision and easy to adjust, and has advantages of fuzzy PID which has well flexible and adaptive.This design includes the switches of remoter and local control, manual and automatic. The main screen of position machine could display temperature measured, temperature settings. This design has advantages of controls, energy-saving and security etc.
