The Design And Research Of An Embedded Video Player

In recent years, as living standards and the continuous improvement of technology, embedded products gradually into people’s daily life, such as intelligent mobile phone, computer, household appliances,IC card, various instruments and so on. With the various features of the embedded products not only bring convenience to our life, but also changing the way we live. Once upon a time the job required to do on the computer, now basically can be through an embedded handheld terminal equipment to complete, we can say that the times we live is times of the PC after.The purpose of this paper is to develop an embedded video player.it is a typical embedded devices. Embedded system development should follow the principles of its own, which takes the application as the center, use the computer technology as foundation, at the same time to balance its volume power consumption and the cost, the research in this paper chosen the product of FriendlyArm mini2440as a test platform, and use a PC ACER4720as the host for supporting the development of the paper.Firstly in this paper is to introduce the development status of embedded video player in domestic and abroad,then introduces the issues involved in the embedded field such as Linux system, embedded technology, ARM technology. From the beginning of the third chapter into the subject of formal development,the first work has carried on the demand analysis and modeling, then get the embedded Linux system for tailoring.cross compiler and tansplant to the mini2440development board. AS the video decoding tasks, this paper uses the MPlayer to achieve it and use the QT program to design UI interface.In the final of this paper, I test overall system of the this paper, including video module and a voice module two parts, video display achieved the expected results.
