It is a new science, and its main taskis to maximize the use of modern computer and network communication technologyto strengthen information management for enterprise. Through the survey ofunderstanding to the human resources, material, financial resources, equipment andtechnology an enterprise has, MIS can establish correct data, process and program allkinds of information provided to administrative staff in time to carry on the correctdecision-making, and constantly improve the management level of enterprises andeconomic benefits. At present, computer network of enterprises has become animportant mean for technical reform and the improvement of the enterprisemanagement level. With the information highway standards between our country andthe world, it is confirmed that enterprises will get significant economic benefits andsocial benefits by the computer network. Therefore, enterprise’s official business andmanagement will be more efficient, faster, and paperless.Radio and television networks’ company owns various sources currently,relevant staffs adopt manual management to deal with program sources by themselves,and prefer manual statistics to dispose program’s relevant information. As a result, itnot only increases staffs’ labor time and intensity, but also brings a lot ofinconvenience to those staffs in other department. In this context, we urgently need aset of automation system to scientifically manage these trivial media resources, so as to reduce the errors and the problem of low efficiency brought by artificial inquiresand programming; meanwhile, it is necessary to solve the follow-up problems tomake sure the software can be smoothly upgraded to the new version.This set of management information systems can help staffs who are responsible forrecording and programming to work more efficiently and simply; the traditional stableC/S architecture and the powerful SQLServer2000adopted by the system will makeprogramming staffs manage media resources efficiently and easily.
