The Design And Implementation Of Smart Home Wireless Sensor Network System Based On The3G And ZigBee

In recent years, with appear of smart home witch subverts the traditional philosophy of life completely. The smart home provides a broad platform for human life. It is an intelligent control system which integrates the lighting, environmental controlling, networking, home appliances as well as other electrical production together by the network, to realize the intelligent management of these devices and the home environment, remote monitoring and resource sharing.In this paper, combining the ZigBee wireless sensing technology,3G network and ARM technology designs and establishes a home gateway which takes embedded microprocessor. The home gateway connects3G communication network and the ZigBee wireless sensor network in the house, to realize the centralized management of information appliances. The user can do the status query and control management of household appliances by the remote PC or smart phone. This paper tries to replace the wireless network with the traditional cable monitoring network system based single-chip microcomputer and the fieldbus technology, to solve problems of cable monitoring system like troubles in wiring, late in maintenance, and inconveniently extending.This topic design of two parts content mainly:one part is the ZigBee wireless sensor network that responsible for the collection and control of the home environment parameters including temperature, humidity, smoke, toxic gases, and electrical switches and so on. So realize the real-time monitoring and recording of environmental parameters. The other part is the home gateway which connect the ZigBee wireless sensor networks and3G networks. The core of gateway is embedded ARM equipped with Linux operating system, expansion ZigBee routing module and3G network module, as well as other interface module. On the basis, develop the corresponding Web service program that provides remote Web services for users to online real-time query and monitor the home situation.This topic as the preliminary exploration of ZigBee and3G technologies applied in smart home. Build of the two terminal sensor nodes platform, stability of the communication and accuracy of the data were tested and validated. On smart home’s development as well as the development of ZigBee technology and3G network applied in research of smart home lay the foundation, has a certain pratical value.
