Design And Implementation Of The Electronic Reading Client Based On Android Platform

In recent years electronic reading continually develops, taking increasingly high proportion in the reading activities, electronic reading has become a very important part of people reading life. Meanwhile, the rise of mobile Internet and the popularity of smart devices (mobile phones, tablet PCs, etc.) provide opportunities for the further development of electronic reading. In the development of mobile Internet boom, an electronic reading client designed for smart devices better meet people’s reading need. The Android platform with its excellent UI design, good user experience and matured application development technology, is the optimal choice of the electronic reading client.This thesis first introduces the Android operating system and application development technology, then analyzes demand of the electronic reading project, describes the electronic reading client’s functional requirements, non-functional requirements, user interface and interaction requirements in detail. After that, this thesis describes project architecture and client architecture. Finally this thesis explains the detailed design of each module of the client, researches and analyzes innovative design, technical difficulties, and proposes solutions and specific implementations.The project is based on the Android platform, research methods and techniques mainly related to the Android operating system, application-layer development technologies, including four components of Activity, Intent, BroadcastReceiver and Service, Android data storage and access technology. In addition, messages push technology and JSON data analytic method used in mobile space are also involved.
