CCD camera has extensive applications in the field of consumer, the image sensor and non-contact measurement, which also contributed to the development of related technologies. The CCD device has high sensitivity, wide spectral response, dynamic range, spatial scanning, anti-vibration, anti-magnetic field, small size, no blur and many other advantages. At the same time, with a variety of high-definition video compression algorithm, the file size of the camera video becomes smaller while its imaging is getting better and better. This article not only described a design of the CCD camera, at the same time a number of key technologies in-depth study also was introduced. The main content is as follows:1. Described the basic principles of the camera from the camera’s three key elements: Optical lens, CCD sensor, and digital video technology. First introduced the key components of optical lens which affect the image quality, elaborated the concept of the main parameters of focal length, angle, field of view and the image field and aperture, etc., as well as the relationships between them. Then carried out a detailed explanation about the structure and key parameters of the key components of CCD sensor which determining the image quality, especially in-depth discussion was included in its imaging principle. Finally, the camera video signal processing part involved in digital video technologies such as color space, digital sampling, and video compression also has a serious study.2. Introduced the program used by the CCD camera design, including both hardware and software. The hardware includes CCD camera, the TVP5150converter chip and the S3C6410program. We mainly have a detailed study of CCD camera in its key parameters; the TVP5150is responsible for the signal converted to digital samples, we did a detailed study of the chip characteristics and gave the final design. The S3C6410program is the key link of this design, mainly to complete the video compression and packaging, this section describes the characteristics and the design ideas of the S3C6410. The software is divided into three parts of Wince operating system, Directshow and ISO MPEG4. The Directshow is a streaming media framework under Wince, using the MPEG4compression standard to acquire and processes the audio and video streaming.3. The theoretical part, the video compression tools, design methods are discussed in detail. MPEG4video coding algorithm comes to include motion estimation, object segmentation and a number of other key technologies; this paper describes the principle of the algorithm, also serious study and exposition of video encoded bit stream syntax and semantics and data structures was included. The multi-format video codec in S3C6410are discussed in detail, focusing on the use of the associated code libraries, and finally describes the design used in the MPEG4video compression filter design methods.4. Audio encoding technology involved in the signal processing is also carried out a detailed study. Including the relevant part of the contents of the principle of AAC audio coding algorithm, code library, as well as AAC audio compression filters design, are all included. AAC audio codec algorithm relates to the application of acoustic principles, this article also described in the corresponding, and then describes the use of the library of audio coding and audio compression filter design methods.5. Introduced the packaging technology of audio and video content and mp4container. This part, including the mp4container data structures, mp4v2library presentations and mp4container filter design. The study begins with the data structure of the mp4container, and then comes to the explanation of the API which was used for audio and video package, and finally the mp4container filter design was also introduced.
