Research And Application Of Knowledge-processing-based Test System

With the rapid development of computer science and technology, web-based remote education have received more and more attention. All types of online examination systems and learning systems have been poured out. Evaluation as an important part of computer-aided education platform plays an important role in both teaching and learning. Therefore, efficient and personalized assisted learning assessment system has become a hot topic in present study.At present, the adaptive test has two research directions, the knowledge space theory (KST) and item response theory (IRT). Test which is based on KST follows the cognitive law, but have not been yet mature in the research of skill. Item response theory-based evaluation can quickly and accurately get the subjects’level of ability, but can not assess the knowledge structure and cognitive deficits. This thesis combines these two theoretical thinking, and take both of their advantages. Evaluation process is divided into cognitive evaluation and ability evaluation. Identify the knowledge structure of subjects at first, and then evaluate their level of ability within the scope of the cognitive. The result will be more accurate. The main research contents are as follows.First, propose a network knowledge structure which is constructed by composition relations and other relations.And then built the item structure which has double association between knowledge points and items.Second, based on the course knowledge structure and item structure this dissertation proposed, knowledge point based KST was intruduced in cognitive evaluation. In the ability evaluation, simplified b Stratification method was adopted to select items.Third, explanation of the wrong items and learning recommendations will be provided in the evaluation procee.Last, by using the MVC three-tier mode and JSP/Servlet technology, a Knowledge-processing-based Test System’s prototype has been developed. Blackbox testing method was used to test the functionality and interface. The prototype system implemented by this dissertation has been carried out a preliminary test to students. The experimental results show that the two-step evaluation has a satisfactory result and basically reached the design goals.
