The Cluster Bomb is a kind of weapon which can attack group.It can attack enemyarmored forces, effective strength, strategic military target groups by long-range launch.It hascharacteristic,such as spread far distance,attack range and shot higher characteristic.Becauseof the characteristic,it is the attention of all countries. In order to validate the operationaleffectiveness of cluster missile, the department will test the distribution of the area. At present,the method of measuring the distribution of the area is not so many ,mainly focus on the stateof cluster missile and the distributed laws of placement.This paper researches the method of measuring the distribution of the area which bases onstereo vision .we mainly analyze the dispersal trajectory and the planar of placement.After wehave launched the cluster missile,the main bomb opens the hatches when it attaches theoverhead of the target and pours auxiliary bombs.This will form a certain area and thedistributing density,it can make powerful damage to the enemy.Because shrapnel’s combatrange is very large and the damage is strong,it is very hard to make field measurements.Wecan use the intersection method of measurement based on machine stereo vision.Using themethod of machine stereo vision intersection to recovery the object space 3D informationthrough image collection,analysis and feature point extraction and reconstruction and soon .And then realize the measurement of the cluster bomb’s dispersion area.This paper complete the area computation simulation of the cluster bomb,and experimenteof umbrella area measurement,because the umbrella is liking the cluster dispersionsurface,and produce the conclusion through the analysis.In this paper,the measurement system is devided into software and hardware two parts,to make design and application.The hardwaremainly includes two digital high speed cameras with the same hardware parameters,platformfixing video camera,PC processing platform, data cable,etc.The software mainly includesimage pre-processing module, the matching module of the image featurepoints,three-dimensional modules of the two-dimensional data points and three-dimensionalreconstruction module.The target reconstruction process of the measurement system: buildingthe high speed camera measuring platform of double CCD,making image collection aftercalibrating the camera, making real-time storage of the two images taken by the sametime.Using image processing software to do image preprocessing,and extract feature point andfor matching,getting spatial coordinates by making calculate after inputting the 2D matchcoordinates into the 3D interface,finally rebuilt the tested thing through MATLAB simulationsoftware.We make the area measurement experiment by using an umbrella to simulateshrapnel’s scatting face .The result showes that the calculation error is within an acceptablerange and it verifies the feasibility of measuring system.Finally,this paper summarizes the work,analyzes the shortage and raises the prospect.The measurement system based on the stereo vision to spread the cluster bomb dispersionarea has some adventages,such as simple operation, stable operation.Through theimprovement of the system,we can improve the measurement precision.Therefore,it has broadprospect of application in non-contact measurement.
