Research On Workflow Management System Based On JBPM5

Business flow of modern enterprises becomes more and more complex. In order to keep the core competitiveness of the business, looking for a way to simplify the traditional manual office business is imperative. With the rapid development of information technology, traditional office mode can be reformed by means of information management in all kinds of enterprise business. Then it can provide the effective business solutions, help enterprise unified management business process, improve the working efficiency of the enterprise. Workflow technology is in this context of birth.This paper started from the related theory of workflow technology, and introduced workflow origin and development, advantages of using workflow system. And then analysed the structure of JBOSS jBPM5 workflow engine component in detail, flow modeling and task management etc. This paper also gave a compare between two other commonly used workflow engine, OSWorkflow and EnhydraShark. Owing to jBPM5 has advantages like flexibile, embed, lightweight and powerful, it was chosen as the workflow engine of the management system.In main part of this paper, the design and implementation of workflow management system was explained, and gave a comprehensive introduction of the function of each module of the system, process design steps and program design ideas. The whole design process including the function requirement analysis, according to the application system requirement outline design gives the system solutions, and the detailed design of the module. After the detailedly requirement analysis of the management system, an overall architecture was designed. The system would adopt Struts2 for management of control, Spring for system business layer, Hibernate for persistence, and the most important, jBPM for system flow. By means of the design, all technique framework combined together efficiently, and expressioned the advantages for the sytem. In the realization part, this paper introduced the composition of the workflow entity, estabilishment the platform, and the database design. Then the paper shown a detailed result of applying for reimbursement process.At the last part of the paper, full text content were summarized, and the study and significance were indicated. And the direction for the future work was put forward.
