Wireless multi-hop network is composed of numbers of wireless nodes, with high mobility and dynamic topology meanwhile easy to deploy. Applications based on wireless multi-hop network are more and more popular. In practice, multimedia transmission applications is highly real time demanding, require relatively stable bandwidth, have higher requirements on the network delay and channel quality. How to improve the network reliability and the performance of transmission is the most important issue in this thesis.This thesis analyzes many existing congestion control algorithm of wireless network.Through the realization of the joint design of data link layer, transport layer, application layer, to make determination more accurately and quickly with the situation of congestion in the wireless channel. Take corresponding measures in time through changing the sending rate to avoid the intensifies of network congestion. Through experiment and simulation by totally six-hop of wireless multi-hop video transmission system, we can prove that the algorithm has certain contribution on improving the reliability of wireless multi-hop network’s transmission.
