Design And Implementation Of Embeded Network Advertising System

In the information age of today, four media types which are newspaper, radio, television and Internet play an increasingly important role in information release and information dissemination. However, in the modern today, products and consumers are more and more specifically subdivided, the traditional media has its limitations that it cannot effectively distinguish the product’s target audience. Consequently, the advertising machine which is known as the "fifth media" came into being. Also, the network advertising machine has become increasingly concerned by the industry, because of its centralized management and group management advantages, and more and more of network advertising machine began to appear in the market. In order to meet the changing needs of advertising machine market, this paper presents a set of solutions of embedded network advertising machine systems, and implements this system after studying the key techniques in this system.In this paper, we use Samsung S3C6410 chip and a friendly arm’s Mini6410 development board as the hardware platform of the embedded advertising machine terminal. Making full use of its hardware acceleration ability for video, images and other multimedia, it can effectively improve the playback performance and user experience. LAMP server architecture is used to build central control server to improve the convenience of management through the B/S management model. Playlists and Channel list are used to make the embedded advertising terminal and the central control server completely decoupled. This paper proposes some innovative solutions such as hardware accelerated video decoding, PULL network control mode, centralized management and group management using play lists and channel list.In this paper, under the guidance of the system requirements, we analyze the design of embedded network advertising system, followed by the discuss and research of the key technologies involved in this design. And finally we implement the embedded advertising machine terminal and the central control server in C++ language and PHP language. Also, we make the functional test analysis and performance test analysis for the implemented embedded network advertising system.The project is a cooperation project with enterprise, and we has developed the first version, and we will make some optimization and upgrading in function and performance of central control terminal server and embedded advertising machine.
