In the recent years, Internet of Things technology has obtained rapid development and been involved in our industry, life and work, owing to academic attention and publicity campaign from government and news media. Internet of Things describes the emerging global, Internet-based information service architecture, which has bright future. Internet of Things serves as key technology for ubiquitous computing, enabling smart environments to recognize and identify objects, and retrieves information from the Internet to facilitate their adaptive functionality.With the advance of Internet of Things, integrating distributed, heterogeneous data and creating new value-added services on demand serve as important role. Data in the Internet of Things is abundant, distributed, diversity and heterogeneous. For one thing, data mainly derive from multiple embedded devices. For the other thing, there are also other tremendous different data resources. So it is a tough challenge but also meaningful to research data extraction, data integration and new added-value services creation on demand, while Internet of Things is full of the massive, chaotic, confusing and raw data.Basing on Rest and data mashup technologies, we propose a data integration prototype on top of the ecosystem of restful devices and accessible resource, mainly to solve the key problems of integrating real-world devices into the Web, and distributed heterogeneous data integration, while ensuring system has the simplicity and scalability. Eventually, the system publishes the mashup result as web services. REST service reduces the complexity of the implement and achieves that the physical device becomes integratable with computer networks. Data mashup facilitates data integration, building new services, improves data value and achieves flexible scalability. With the introduction of key technical issues, REST Web Service and Mashup from concept, classification and architecture, this paper analyses the function needs, promotes the architecture of Data Mashup Platform and outlines all the modules that compose of it. And then, the implement of module function, the business process and the interface of each module is described in detail. In the aspect of implementation, the thesis introduces by layer. It is followed by a set of demonstration based on data mashup to test the platform. Eventually, the paper draws a conclusion and outlines the future work of my study.
