With the fast development of Internet as well as Internet of things, the scale of optical transport networks is becoming much larger and the service types are also getting more, the evolution trend is to divide the whole domain into multi-domain and multi-layer. As a result, path computation becomes even more difficulty in large scale multi-layer and multi-domain networks, especially in multi-constraint scenarios and has been a crucial research topic recently.In multi-domain and multi-layer optical network, routing question includes two kinds of problems e.g. intra-domain routing and inter-domain routing. At present, routing technique is far from well-developed; however, it is inexorable trend to connect every transmission network domains as a whole in the future. What’s more, some internet service providers do not wish to oppose all of routing information to others considering their own interests as well as security problems. And it is difficult to connect different part of optical network together considering many constraint conditions. Some studies have been proposed with the consideration of confidentiality and management. However, these mechanisms do not perform effectively with increasing domain counts.Therefore the above problems are investigated in depth in this paper. A fast-response and optimized routing algorithm is proposed to solve scalability problem in large-scale optical networks. The performance of the proposed algorithm is studied. Simulation results show that our purposed solution, compared against current inter-domain routing strategies, significantly reduces the overall connection set up time without impacting on the blocking probability as well as resource utilization. Furthermore, in order to study, investigate and analyze different kinds of inter-domain routing algorithms, Dual Routing Engine stack software is developed and the architecture is introduced in the article. And author also designed and implemented the development of the key model group engine in the simulation platform.
